Our ideas for your investment
Markets are changing, some at a manageable pace, some dynamically – and some disruptively, where a business area is being taken over by digitisation. By their very nature, property investments require medium to long-term commitment. For this reason, we see it as our job to provide our customers with viable forecasts on market developments and then create products with a sound risk/return profile to be managed with solid expertise in terms of the tenant market and industry. This principle applies to fund and asset management as well as our project development.
For a long time now we have successfully tapped into fresh market opportunities for our customers in the logistics segment – especially in the area of core products. But where the market becomes tighter due to healthy demand and returns begin to drop, we also look for supplements and new ventures.
Since we want our name to reflect our company’s activities, we adapt it to indicate moves towards new, additional markets: in May of this year, Garbe Logistic AG was renamed Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH.
What has not changed is our sense of responsibility towards investors and the equity entrusted to us – as well as our thorough approach in our day-to-day work. With more than 1.5 billion assets under management and 79 properties, our focus is on the asset classes of business and logistics properties.
In this brief summary we would like to offer an initial impression of our philosophy. We will be glad to conduct more in-depth talks with you at ExpoReal.
- We have expanded our product range in the logistics area and are now looking to tap into potential in the core-plus and added value segment. A new fund has been established and a seed portfolio purchased. Other funds and property purchases will follow.
- Based on our existing expertise we have made an excellent fresh start in business property, committing ourselves fully with the launch and full investment of a special fund and already going ahead with property development in this segment.
