IVG Garbe Logistik Fonds acquires logistics centre in Ottobrunn
Grundstücksentwicklung O1 GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture between ISARKIES GmbH & Co. KG. and partners of MP Holding GmbH, sold the logistics centre for the refrigerated foods company BALTH. PAPP Internationale Lebensmittellogistik KG in Ottobrunn.
The group of buildings has warehouse and office space with approximately 7,300 m² of total area available to let. The buyer is IVG Garbe Logistik Fonds, which was launched jointly in 2012 by IVG Institutional Funds GmbH and Garbe Logistic AG. Colliers International acted in an advisory and mediating capacity. The property is leased long-term to the company BALTH. PAPP Internationale Lebensmittellogistik KG.
Transfer of possession, benefits and encumbrances took place in early June this year. Legal counsel for the transaction came from TaylorWessing lawyers for the buyer and HauckSchuchardt lawyers for the seller. The management of the properties is carried out by Garbe Logistic AG. The logistics property is located on a plot of land in Finsinger Feld in Ottobrunn with approximately 13,000m²; it is in the immediate vicinity of the northern and central industrial areas, just 1 km from the Taufkirchen-Ost exit and with access to the A8 motorway. The property has approximately 4,905 m² of hall space (refrigerated and unrefrigerated warehouse space), approximately 2,484 m² of office space and social areas, as well as passenger vehicle and lorry parking areas. About 120 people have been employed at the site since August 2014.
