Modern new building in the Heilbronn-Franconia region
Hamburg/Kupferzell, March 25, 2026 – Garbe Industrial GmbH & Co. KG has celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the approximately 28,000-square-metre Garbe Industrial Park Kupferzell (Hohenlohe district, Baden-Württemberg). The investment volume amounts to around 45 million euros. The new building is scheduled for completion in summer 2026.

The property is being built on a 54,000 square metre plot of land in the Greut industrial estate in Kupferzell. “With the acquisition of the site in 2023, we secured one of the last available areas with building rights in the economically strong Heilbronn area,” says Jan Phillip Daun, Managing Director of Garbe Industrial. The location of the site with its excellent transport links was a key factor in the decision. Thanks to its proximity to the A 6 and A 81 motorways, the Stuttgart economic area and the cities of Mannheim, Nuremberg and Würzburg can be reached quickly. The journey along the B 19 federal highway to Kupferzell junction takes only a few minutes. According to Daun, however, the high demand for settlement and expansion opportunities on the part of existing and regional companies in the commercial, production, logistics and light industrial sectors, among others, also spoke in favour of the Garbe Industrial Park Kupferzell.
The modern property will have a hall area of around 28,000 square metres, which can also be divided into smaller units of around 8,700 square metres or more to accommodate multiple tenants, depending on demand. The new warehouse building will be equipped with 29 dock levellers and three sectional doors at ground level. Goldbeck International has been commissioned as the general contractor for the construction.
As with all new buildings, Garbe Industrial has placed great importance on sustainability throughout the project development in Kupferzell, constructing the property in accordance with the latest ESG standards. The commercial property thus meets the strict requirements of the BEG 40 energy efficiency standard and, according to the current planning status, a large-scale, high-performance photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof to generate renewable energy. The property will be heated using climate-friendly air-to-air heat pumps. Garbe Industrial is also aiming for certification for the new hall in accordance with the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
