Garbe Industrial leases further property to Atrikom Fulfillment

Mettmann/Hamburg, 16. September 2025 – Garbe Industrial can announce another leasing success: Atrikom Fulfillment will occupy a total area of around 5,500 square metres in Garbe’s multi-user logistics centre in Mettmann (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). The company specialises in goods and promotional material logistics as well as dialogue marketing and will provide warehouse logistics services for its customers in the property.
“We are delighted to have gained Atrikom Fulfillment and its subsidiary ‘Wir Packen’s’ as a new anchor tenant for our logistics property in Mettmann,” says Thorsten Wagner, Asset Manager at Garbe Industrial. The long-term lease agreement concluded between the two parties provides for the use of around 4,600 square metres of hall space, 650 square metres of warehouse space and around 200 square metres of office and social space. The lease was brokered by the estate agent Realogis Immobilien Düsseldorf. Legal advice was provided by Taylor Wessing.
Atrikom Fulfillment is expanding its network of locations with the subsidiary “Wir packen’s” and the warehouse in Mettmann. The medium-sized service provider, whose customers include companies from the automotive, retail, pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries as well as many start-ups, is headquartered in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg in southern Hesse and currently operates branches in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. “We want to expand our logistics capacities and are therefore opening our first location outside the Rhine-Main region in Mettmann,” emphasises Daniel Deckers, Managing Director of Atrikom Fulfillment. The company is already a tenant of Garbe Industrial in Bodenheim in Rheinhessen. Atrikom Fulfillment operates an e-commerce warehouse there on a total area of 14,500 square metres.
Garbe Industrial developed the multi-user logistics centre in Mettmann on a 26,000-square-metre site in a joint venture with the E-Group and completed it at the end of 2023. The new building has a total area of around 10,300 square metres. Approximately 1,500 square metres in the property are used by a food retailer. Around 3,000 square metres of hall space, 220 square metres of warehouse space and 170 square metres for offices and social rooms are still available. “They are ideal suitable for e-commerce companies due to their central location in the heart of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region and good transport connections,” explains Thorsten Wagner.
The property is located in an industrial estate in the north-east of Mettmann, just a few kilometres from the A3 motorway, which links the site to the north with Duisburg and the German-Dutch border at Emmerich and to the south with Cologne, continuing on to Frankfurt am Main, Würzburg and Nuremberg. The centre of Düsseldorf and Düsseldorf Airport are approximately 18 kilometres away.
For the loading and unloading of lorries, the available space is equipped with three dock levellers and a sectional door at ground level. The multi-user logistics centre was built to the EG55 efficiency house standard and certified to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
