Garbe Industrial extends lease agreement with MBS Logistik in the Port of Regensburg

Regensburg/Hamburg, 3 February 2026 – Garbe Industrial records another successful lease. The company’s real estate management has extended the lease with logistics service provider MBS Logistik. The company uses a total area of around 7,000 square metres in the Port of Regensburg, where it handles the storage, picking and shipping of goods for customers from industry and trade.
“The seamless follow-on lease shows that high-quality logistics space remains in demand even in economically challenging times,” emphasises Faika Biriz, Regional Head of Real Estate Management at Garbe Industrial in Stuttgart. “We are delighted that MBS Logistik regards us as a reliable partner. The resulting trust creates the basis for long-term cooperation.”
The logistics property in Regensburg, which was built in 2019, is fully leased and managed by Garbe Industrial. It has a total area of almost 19,000 square metres. The lease agreement concluded with MBS Logistik provides for the use of around 5,900 square metres of hall space, 800 square metres of warehouse mezzanine and 280 square metres of office space. The remaining space has been leased to another logistics service provider on a long-term basis.
The property is located on a plot of around 34,400 square metres in the Port of Regensburg, just a few hundred metres from the port basin and the Danube. The location has trimodal transport connections. Two motorways can be reached via the Odessa-Ring and the B 15: the A 3, which connects Regensburg to the northwest with Nuremberg and Frankfurt and to the southeast with Passau, as well as the A 93, which runs between Hof and the A 9. The port railway’s freight tracks run directly alongside the logistics centre.
