New build distribution center

GARBE Industrial Real Estate Netherlands has officially welcomed the 71,000 square meters logistics centre, near the city of Breda, as part of the wider GARBE portfolio. The logistics warehouse is the first asset to have been developed at the 62-hectare business park Business Centre Treeport. A long-term lease has been signed by BCT Treehub for a total area encompassing 23,000 square meters. Furthermore, 48,000 square meters are leased by LIDL.

This logistics hotspot puts efficiency and a positive environmental impact, front and centre. This modern asset has excellent ESG credentials, for example a wind turbine installed to the rear of the development. Almost 19.000 solar panels will supply the centre with electricity, and an A++ energy label further reinforces the ESG element of this development. The distribution centre is located in one of the most prominent locations for the tree cultivation sector in Europe, Breda. Its proximity to Belgium gives it an excellent connection to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp.
