Garbe Industrial achieves full occupancy in East Holstein

Lensahn/Hamburg, 27 August 2026 – Garbe Industrial is extending its lease agreement with the Kiel-based start-up Dieseo. The e-commerce company, known on social media for its “Pammys” footwear brand, is taking up an additional 11,700 square metres of space in Lensahn (East Holstein district, Germany). As a result, the property developed and managed by Garbe Industrial – with a total area of around 23,400 square metres – is now fully leased to Dieseo. 

The start-up uses the site, about 50 kilometres north of Lübeck, for the storage and shipping of its fashion items. The new building comprises two units of roughly equal size. The company moved into the first unit in August last year. 

“With the additional space, we’re laying the groundwork for our growth to €300 million in revenue while optimising our logistics processes,” says Fatbardh Pakashtica, CEO of Dieseo. “With Garbe Industrial as a partner, we can quickly and seamlessly scale our warehousing and shipping capacities in line with our strong growth, and on fair terms.” According to its own figures, Pammys now boasts more than 1.5 million customers and came first among Europe’s fastest-growing e-commerce brands in a 2025 ranking published by Statista and the Financial Times. 

“We have been working closely with Dieseo for a year now and were able to quickly provide additional space that was available at the site. Both of these factors were crucial to the extension of the lease,” emphasises Tobias Roloff, Asset Manager at Garbe Industrial: “The fact that we have now achieved full occupancy in Lensahn underscores the effectiveness of our asset management. High-quality properties in attractive locations continue to be in demand.” 

Both parties have entered into a so-called ESG lease, which includes provisions for the sustainable use and management of the property. The logistics centre is certified according to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). A photovoltaic system with a peak output of 2.9 megawatts is installed on the roof to generate renewable energy. The new building operates without the use of fossil fuels and is heated using a heat pump system. 

The property is located just a few hundred metres from the A1 motorway. It connects the site to the Fehmarn Sound Bridge to the north and to Hamburg, Bremen and the Ruhr region to the south. A cross-border connection to Denmark is expected to be available from 2031. By then, the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel between Puttgarden on the German side and the Danish island of Lolland is scheduled to be completed, significantly reducing travel time.
